Life Lockdown Wrap Ups

The positives of 2020

First of all, HAPPY NEW YEAR! Hope you have had a great celebration, despite the Covid restrictions! Secondly, 2020 has been the most sh*ttest year anyone has ever experienced! Therefore, I decided to pick out all the positives of 2020 and forget about all the crap that went on! At the end of the day, we can’t control how the year turns out, but we can control the way our mindset is. Therefore, we must think all about the good things that have happened!

The Positives of 2020!

So what are the positives of 2020? Lets look at each month and see!…

I started off the year by going on holiday to Los Angeles, America! This was a massive positive for me as I was able to go away just before Covid hit and I was able to experience lots of fun things. These were things such as going to Hollywood, meeting famous tiktokers, shopping etc. If you would like to find out more about what went on in LA, check out: My Trip To Los Angeles!

For February, my positives were probably going out with Lewis on dates and Valentine’s day! We went bowling, the cinema and went shopping in town!

Just before Covid hit, I was able to spend a few nights with Lewis’ family and also celebrated mine and Lew’s 1 year anniversary! (28/03/19)

The positives of 2020- march

In April we hit lockdown, so there weren’t a lot of things to do! However, we still managed to do some things that were positive!

We had many street parties which were Covid safe! We all sat on our doorsteps and played music, did quizzes, played games like bingo etc. It was a lot of fun despite not being able to come in close contact with them! However, it really brang us together!

Not only did we have street parties, I also received flowers for the first time from the best boyfriend in the world. Due to being in lockdown, I really missed him, so he dropped these over at a distance to cheer me up!

The positives of 2020 - April

May is my birthday month! I was hoping to go out with family and friends but obviously had to stay in! However, we still made it special and lots of friends and neighbours delivered me presents!

Also during May, I dyed my hair red too! It looked so cool!

The positives of 2020 - MAY

June, things started to get a bit better and I was finally allowed to start meeting up with Lewis again! We went out a lot and enjoyed the sunny weather whilst it lasted!

Again in July, I stayed with Lewis for a few nights. We did facemasks together which was really fun and spent some quality time with each other!

We also went to visit our friends Jonathon and Dean in Herne Bay! This was a big positive as they really make us laugh, we had lots of fun, and even died my hair black!

Another big positive of July was we went to Paulton’s park with Jonathon and Dean. It was so much fun as we haven’t been able to go out to a theme park in so long due to Covid!

August had some really good positives! These were things such as;

  • I did lots of exercising and eating healthy!
  • Saw Lewis before he went on holiday
  • I met some of the most amazing people (Alex, Emma and Bella the dog too!)

And the most important important….. I started blogging!!!!! This is a massive positive for me as it has really helped me and helped others too!

September was also full of lots of great memories too! We went to Alice in wonderland, got my mixibomb collab, had a prettymoi collab and many more!

October had a lot of positive and great things that happened! These were things such as;

  • Moving house
  • learning how to knit
  • Watching Lewis play a football match
  • Got a collab with Clayed for you!
  • Visited a pumpkin patch for the first time
  • Went to Longdown farm!
  • It was Halloween

And so much more….

In November it started to calm down more but there were still some positives to the month! I got a collab with Compresso Cups, I won Β£10 on the lottery, started Christmas doorstep visits. Another positive was putting the tree up! Most people said it was too early however I thought it bought a lot of joy to the house and after the year we have had with Covid, why does it matter?

In December we got up to lots of things as it was the run up to Christmas! These were things such as;

  • Starting up a small business
  • Did lots of Christmas bear doorstep visits
  • It was Christmas!!!!!
  • Went shopping
  • Had a visit from Santa and the naughty elf
  • Got a collab with Fun cases
  • We zoom called my family on Xmas day

and lots more!….

What are other positives of 2020?

2020 has really allowed us to become better people! It has helped us adapt to different ways of working, find out how much things mean to us, and just becoming a community by keeping others safe! Another positive of 2020 is the lockdown has enabled us to become a better version of themselves, find out their true self and create better bonds with their immediate home family!
